Jerod Blakely is a Huron native and a proud alumnus of Huron High School. He serves as a source of advice, counsel, leadership, and fundraising for several local organizations/non-profits.

Jerod was heavily involved in the coordination and execution of the McCormick Diamond Jubilee which brought in over $10,000 to aid in school renovations.

​

Jerod serves on the Finance/Audit Committee for Huron City Schools, is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Associates of Ohio, and is a member of the Lake Erie Aerie No. 2875 Fraternal Order of Eagles.

​

Jerod formerly served as the Board President for Ability Works Inc. and a board member for Family Pride of Northeast Ohio before relinquishing his roles to allow more time for his family and new business endeavors.

​

For the last three years, Jerod has worked as an Account Executive for n2y and helps to provide special education software, curriculum, and learning tools to schools. He also runs a market at 12009 Wikel Road in Milan, Ohio that offers locally pasture-raised, grass-fed, and grass-finished beef in addition to Ohio-made goods, and western boutique items.

Jerod is married to his wife, CJ Blakely, and together they are co-leads for the Marriage Ministry Team at The Chapel. He has one son and three daughters which keep his life busy and blessed.
